Improving quality and value of comics

My experiences with Chris and his team have been nothing short of AMAZING when it comes to improving the overall quality and value of my collection! I was sure to seek out a professional that I could trust and who would put in the necessary time and effort to get my favorite books looking their best. Every book I’ve sent to Chris has come back looking even better than before, and any increase in grade/value is just a bonus. Results aside, I can always count on Chris to give me honest feedback as to whether he thinks he can realistically improve a book I’ve sent him. It’s that honest communication that puts him a step ahead from other pressers, and there’s no arguing that he has gotten consistent results both for myself and other collectors!

He understood my hesitation with shipping out my X-Men #1 in a CGC 3.0, treated me with both respect AND a shockingly high degree of technical sophistication, and it just came back from CGC as a 6.0! A jump from a 3.0 to 6.0 exceeded even my wildest expectations. I can’t thank him enough.

I learned about The Comic Book Presser through Instagram and recommendations. I had 2 large books (an Amazing Spiderman 129 9.4 and an Incredible Hulk 181 9.2) worth thousands of dollars and knew I had to go with a presser I could trust. I signed up for the service through the website and paid a rush fee (I’m not a patient man!). They took in my books and finish the press a few days later. They then sent the books to my CGC account. About a week later I got the good news! The Hulk 181 went up to a 9.6 and the ASM 129 was now a White Page 9.8! The Comic Book Presser literally added tens of thousands of dollars to the value of my books! I’m so grateful and would never use anyone else going forward!

Searching for a good presser can be an overwhelming task and there’s many in the market to choose from. Chris and his team are amongst the best in the industry with steadfast communication, attention to detail, and high respect for collectibles submitted for him to work on. He has worked on many of my modern books along with my high end thousand dollar books and I have never been disappointed. He can submit books to either grading company on your behalf, under your account, or under his as a facilitator. He is highly knowledgeable of the industry along with his craft. I’ve been collecting comics since 1976. There is only one presser I trust to get my books ready for grading. I know I’ve done everything possible when The Comic Book Presser returns them.

For many years I have sent all my books I want prepared for grading to Chris. There is no doubt that he, with his experience, belongs to the very best in terms of the craft itself. But for me as an international customer (from Sweden) it is also just as valuable to have really good service and communication. Over the last 4 years we have sent Chris and his team several books, and we have yet to be disappointed!!! Although no guarantees in grades can be made, his attention to every conceivable detail is unparalleled. A big BIG shout out to my Presser, @thecomicbookpresser, Chris. What can I say IG community, he does some of the best work around, the results are obvious. Chris takes a lot of pride in his work and stands by his word. He’s still a huge fan of the hobby, it’s great to know that you can have an honest convo with him.
